Welcome to the KDAF page. I'm not intending to document much here - please go to the sourceforge kdaf project page for more up to date information.
Some quick answers to common questions:
I run a software company called Kimian Technology in the UK. I tend to prefix most things with that word. It's allegedly Swahili for "Net".
My name is Alan Moore, I've been in the computer industry since about 1987, so I've been around a bit. Moved around from C, APL, C++, Smalltalk, Java and also from DOS, Win3.1, Windows NT, Linux, Solaris, Windows 2000. So I'm pretty agnostic about languages and environments. Whatever is appropriate...
I'm based in London, England and I'm not the guy who writes the comic books/graphic novels...
I've been playing around with Dallas Semiconductor's IButtons for some time. I wanted to create a general data acquisition framework that could use both the IButtons and anything else that may come around. I'd like it also to be a feeder system for a future Location Based Services application. It's written in Java.
All for now. Take a look at the sourceforge page for more information.
